SCHWEPPES - The Social Sound Experience 

This revolutionary experience uses spatial audio, processed in real time, to guide the user toward an exclusive live music event performed by Daliwonga. Think of it like an immersive audio trail map guiding you through your ears. 

A custom-built interactive 8th wall powered web page was created for this event using a combination of a custom rendered impulse response, real-time convolution, carefully defined filtering, and binaural spatialization. Using Daliwonga’s "Howa You” as the backing track, the user experiences the sound of a concert in the distance getting closer and closer as they approach the venue. The further away the user, the further away and more filtered the sound. The closer the user, the closer, bigger, and more full the sound, clueing you in on which direction to go. When you make it to the venue, there is an exclusive live concert event waiting for you and everyone else joining this sonic journey. 

It’s an immersive personal experience, designed to bring people together. 

To build the anticipation of the experience, we have broken Daliwonga’s track into 6 distinct stems (bass, drums, fx, music melody, percussion and vocals) that build on top of each other as the user walks closer and closer to the destination. Paired with an ambisonic audio mix which pulls guests in the direction of the venue through active and immersive sound movement in their headphones via geo-location tracking, the music was sonically enhanced to create a cinematic and anticipatory feeling that urges people to push forward and seek out the final location. This layering of music, sound effects and a final arrival sound moment all combine to create an exciting experience that builds momentum for the live show.
