​This project for Destiny rescue from a production standpoint was completed from start to finish entirely free of charge. The concept is simple yet powerful and required a a nimble crew of likeminded craftspeople to pull it together from initial script to final delivery in under 10 days.

From locations to art department, lighting, camera crew, photography, grade, custom music, edit and camera gear.. every element of the project was offered free of charge in order to create a campaign with a powerful message .By shining a light on this hideous issue, we’re proud to make a small contribution that brings child sex slavery to the forefront of peoples minds in Australia and inspires them to donate to a very worthy cause.

The idea in a nutshell was to juxtapose the expected lives of teenage girls in Australia by simply showing their bedrooms. The place they feel safe, their sanctuary, their mess.. imagery we can all relate to that conveys the innocence of a child and contrast this with the stark reality of children trapped in sex slavery around the world.

Light + Shade was responsible for all elements of production and post along with the help of the generous film community and our long time collaborators here in Brisbane, we are extremely proud to deliver a piece of work that is impactful, thought provoking sand will hopefully do some good in the world. ​
