The timing couldn’t have been better, in August, Serena Williams teased a new piece of film content with Lincoln on her instagram, depicting her behind-the-scenes, radiantly pregnant. And just hours later, she announced the birth of her second daughter, Adira River Ohanian.

‘Letting Go’ was shot last month in Miami by rising Dutch director Judith Veenendaal. It depicts the feeling of using the new semi-autonomous driving feature Lincoln BlueCruise, using a flashback memory of Serena as a young girl, learning to float in the ocean for the first time, trusting in the buoyancy of the ocean, and letting go of her instructor’s hand.

Serena will drive her nearly 17M followers to this piece, living on YouTube, and running in Lincoln social channel as well as airing on addressable regional Broadcast TV.
