Agency SOS Marks Anniversary with New Spins on Its Theme Song

When Agency SOS opened its doors in June 2021, they knew that people would have the same question: “What does SOS stand for?”

So they made a theme song to explain and it soon became a fan favourite. 

When their anniversary rolled around (the San Francisco-based shop celebrates three years this month), they thought, “Hey, everybody loves the theme song…why don’t we do a bunch of different cover versions of it in different musical genres.”

So that’s what they did. From country to heavy metal to dance remix to love ballad.

"Before we opened the agency, I had the nugget of the idea for the theme song, but the amazing John Evans really brought it to life," said John Kovacevich, founder of Agency SOS.

Evans recorded the music, provided the vocal, and produced the original track. In addition to working as a freelance copywriter, Evans also records music under the name Jawnii-Ahbi. 

"The original was such a hit, we decided to have some fun with different remixes," said John. "Some of them are bonkers...but folks definitely have their favourites."
