'There’s Never Been A Season Like This' created by Arts & Letters sets out to excite fans across the US and keep them watching every single week

As the 2024 college football season arrives, with an expanded College Football Playoff, The Greatest Story Ever Played platform from College Football on ESPN continues with a new campaign titled, 'There’s Never Been A Season Like This'.

The upcoming season promises to be one of the most entertaining stretches of college football in history - and this campaign serves as the trailer for all that’s to come.

ESPN is ushering football fans into a new and brighter era of The Greatest Story Ever Played: The age of the Expanded Playoff. Now more than ever, “There’s Never Been A Season Like This” rings out as the truth of the moment for college football fans, schools, and teams, everywhere. And there’s no better network that is set up to bring fans into this new time in CFB history than ESPN.

The campaign perfectly captures the drama and excitement that fans are about to experience while watching this year’s historical CFB season unfold.

“‘There’s never been a season like this’ couldn’t be truer. The challenge was to create something that lived up to this generational moment. Something that captured the next level of hopes and dreams that will come with more teams having a chance to win one of sports biggest and most iconic championships,” said Scott Hayes, creative at Arts & Letters Creative Co.

The spot began airing on Monday, August 19th and will run through mid-October on linear and digital, including across ESPN Broadcasts, and on ABC, NAT Geo, and FX.

“There’s never been a season like this. We will see more teams and more hope for fans because of the expanded playoff," said Curtis Friends, vice president of Sports Marketing at ESPN. "We had to dig deep to find the right music track to embrace the excitement and this new type of controlled chaos that is College Football."
