The campaign video for the London imprint’s collaboration with Nike stars Phil Foden and Jorja Smith and was directed by Walid Labri through DIVISION

London-based streetwear brand Corteiz is generating buzz once again with its latest Nike Air Max 95 release,

Following a successful ‘Crossbar Challenge’ giveaway event with Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga, the highly-anticipated campaign video fictionalises the footwear drop, dramatizing breaking news of the release, delivered by RTW (RULES THE WORLD) reporters from around the globe. The announcement that production has been halted and that there are only 100 pairs in existence causes a frenzy in the stock market and auction houses, where pairs are fetching upwards of a whopping £110,000.

The film, directed by Walid Labri through production company DIVISION, takes viewers on a journey from the room of an unhinged sneakerhead to street tunnels on the back of a yellow quad bike, with subtle details scattered throughout.

The campaign even stars Manchester City and England midfielder Phil Foden recreating the classic Ronaldinho Joga Bonito crossbar challenge – over and over and over. Singer Jorja Smith brilliantly takes on the role of a call centre operator and the man who falls to Earth only to have his AM 95s save his life is Slawn, artist and designer of this year’s BRIT Award. Corteiz founder Clint also makes an appearance himself in the auction house scene.
