Darrin Prescott directed the campaign for David & Goliath to re-energise the midsize sedan category

Kia launches it latest campaign 'Turn the Lights On', directed by Darrin Prescott for David and Goliath.  

Directed by Darrin Prescott at Feel Films for David & Goliath LA, 'Turn The Lights On', finds the KIA K5 GT zipping through a warehouse full of dusty, discarded carnival rides and toys. As the K5 passes each cobweb covered piece of equipment, they magically come back to life and soon the entire space is re-energised, with blinking lights, carnival music and animatronic movements, highlighting how the K5 is breathing new life into and re energising the staid and stale midsize sedan category. It premiered during Summers hottest show, America’s Got Talent. 

The spot is brought to life by Darrin Prescott, one of Hollywood’s A-list Action Directors responsible for such high octane and visceral work on Ford Vs Ferrari, Baby Driver, John Wick and Black Panther to name but a few.  

In August Darrin launched the campaign, literally, with a hair-raising ‘Triple-Threat’ stunt that was broadcast live in the US. 

Later in September, the K5 will be front and centre again for the biggest night in television as Kia partners with ABC and the Television Academy for the 72nd Emmy Awards broadcast, and will feature another brand new spot directed by Darrin.
