Legwork Develops Playful Back-to-School Animation for L.L.Bean Backpacks

Denver-based creative studio Legwork recently created the animated content for the latest L.L.Bean backpacks ad, a video illustrating how tough these backpacks really are.

Taking place in a testing lab, the video shows how much weight and use these backpacks can take, and compares those numbers with fun and instructional examples—apples, Dalmatians, Statues of Liberty and water balloons. 

The script was provided to Legwork, and from there they did the storyboards, designs and animation, which includes some stop motion. This is Legwork’s first work with L.L.Bean.
