Q> Who are you hoping to meet on LBB Beach? Individuals and/or company roles, companies, or anyone else?

We are meeting many of our valued clients, they include MCA panellists from Mars, Reckitt and Bayer plus sustainability partners from Ad Net Zero and creative guru Sir John Hegarty. Other invited guests include a raft of agency and production individuals from around the world.

 

Q> Are you hosting any events on LBB Beach, or elsewhere in Cannes during the week?

MCA are Content Sponsors of all the panels on the beach.

We will also host two MCA panels (Tuesday and Thursday) at the LBB Beach

We will be doing ad-hoc video interviews and meeting potential future guests of the MCA Prodcast (theprodcast.com)

 

Q> What are you most looking forward to about Cannes in 2024?

Discussing the latest advertising/marketing innovations and future expectations with a mix of clients and industry leaders.

Q> What are your top tips for newbies going to Cannes, the Lions, and the LBB Beach for the first time?

Avoid the ‘Gutter Bar’...you’ll have a great time there if you do go, but you’ll need a strong focus for that breakfast meeting the next day…but then again, if you can handle it, you won’t be the first to go straight from the bar to the breakfast meeting!!

 

Q> Do you have any restaurant or bar recommendations in Cannes you’d like to share?

Let Pastis, small but perfectly formed. And the market is a delight of smells and vibrant colours.

 

Q> What is your favourite non-work activity in Cannes? (could be cultural, sporting, shopping, seaside or anything you like)

Getting a chance to rent a car and visit other small towns and villages including Mougins, Biot, Valbonne, Saint-Paul-de-Vence and many others. 

 

Q> Lastly, what is your packing essential for the week at Cannes Lions?

Suncream and Barocca.
