People’s Postcode Lottery Is Delivering Good News with Comedian Tom Allen

People’s Postcode Lottery have launched a new integrated campaign featuring comedian Tom Allen. The campaign was conceived and developed inhouse at People’s Postcode Lottery, with The Gate Films, a Tag company, handling all film production. Shot across two weeks all over the UK the films are directed by The Gate's New York based director Vince Peone, famous for his work with multiple A list celebrities including Ryan Reynolds, Kylie Jenner and 2 Chains.

The campaign also features the prototype of Morris’s soon to be released electric van, being driven by Tom around the UK ‘Delivering Good News’.

“Delivering good news is what we’re all about. Tom does this perfectly and the campaign has been brilliantly handled by Vince and The Gate Films team. Dealing with multiple moving parts including celebrity schedules, ever changing British weather and multi million pound prototypes is no mean feat but the team pulled together a seamless production and I think the massive effort and commitment to the work throughout the production really come across on screen” says Mark Harrison, head of creative at People’s Postcode Lottery.

James Shannon, head of production at The Gate and lead producer on the project comments, “Tom was a dream. The trick was to put all of the logistics in place to allow Vince and him as much time as possible to get some great performances. They got on like a house on fire and I’m sure the audiences will see that in the films.”

The first of several new spots are running on TV from 18th August.
