Responsible for continuing the elevation of the business growth and creative reputation, Rebecca is the latest in a series of senior hires to aid in the agency evolution

Diamond has announced a key hire as it continues its evolution, with Rebecca Flaman joining as executive vice-president, business lead. Rebecca joins the senior leadership team at Diamond, partnering with Diamond’s managing director, Lorri MacDonald, to drive the agency's growth and reputation.

"Throughout her career, Rebecca has consistently demonstrated her commitment to being a trusted client ally, while also fostering the environment necessary to create innovative and breakthrough work,” says Lorri, “We are thrilled to bring her particular style of leadership to the agency as we expand our client base across a variety of industry sectors, all with the goal of delivering impactful and attention-grabbing work that performs."

Rebecca is a driven, collaborative leader with over 18 years of experience leading integrated strategic advertising, communications, and marketing programs across multi-brand portfolios. She has built a career as a key driver of agency growth and creative reputation, contributing to some of Canada’s most recognisable and award-winning campaigns. Her innovative work includes projects for the Canadian Paralympic Committee, Right To Play, and, most recently, Missing Matoaka - one of the most internationally awarded campaigns aimed at raising awareness of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls.

Recognising that today’s brands are no longer built solely through traditional campaigns, Diamond has been steadily building and diversifying their core offerings along with an exciting client portfolio. Recent wins include Canadian Blood Services, Post Cereal, and Sinai Health.

"This is an exciting time for Diamond,” says Flaman. “The energy and momentum driving the realization of their vision present an unparalleled opportunity that I am eager to roll up my sleeves and be a part of.”

Rebecca is also a passionate advocate for women and parents in the workplace, recently serving as the Canadian co-chair of OmniWomen & Allies, a global organisation which aims to create a supportive environment for women to network, learn and grow.

Rebecca is the latest in a series of senior appointments following the appointment of Peter Ignazi and Lori Davison as CCO and CSO, respectively.
