Sequoia Content and Sean Frewer Capture Quiet Moments of Reflection for Meditations Short

​During the 2nd lockdown in Toronto, Sean Frewer felt the need to try and capture something that might help express the anxieties and frustrations he was feeling through the short winter days of the pandemic. The hope was to create a short film that many people could relate to while exploring ways to cope and manage the myriad of emotions.  

His other intent for the film was to help bring awareness to mental health during these exceptional times. Exploring the idea that it's not where we would rather be, but where we are that matters the most.

With DP Darrin Klimek, his friend and actor Kym Wyatt McKenzie, and daughter Charlie, they set out to capture something modest with no crew and equipment during Covid. The story centres around a single father burdened by trying to juggle all of his responsibilities who eventually finds perspective in a quiet moment of reflection.​
