The creative production and post production company built a digital immersive experience, from creative direction all the way to tech development and implementation

Space Cowboys has unveiled its work for ‘BLOOM: The Secret Wonders of New York’s Forgotten Eden’, an immersive summer exhibition at Hero Space in New York’s Rockefeller Center.

‘BLOOM’ uncovers the Rockefeller Center’s buried past as the site of America’s first botanical garden – The Elgin Garden – two centuries ago, and reimagines this history as a remarkable journey of a seed from root to bloom. Exploring themes of renewal, nature, technology, and time, guests are invited to navigate its interconnected network of digital innovation, interactive art installations, and immersive storytelling.

Space Cowboys played an integral role creating and curating the digital content within the exhibition. From avatar creation, to top tier visuals and an interactive installation, powered by innovative technologies like language learning models, and AI-powered processes. Space Cowboys took this exhibition as an opportunity to innovate in entirely new ways. “We’ve always believed that by partnering with technology and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, dreams can be unlocked.” – Julie Reali and Lesly Lynch, founders of Space Cowboys.

No strangers to the exhibition space, Space Cowboys recently helped bring its artist Chong Yan Chuah’s work to Europe for the Urvanity Art Fair. The large installation of his video piece, ‘There will be Dr@g0ns in my Future Dreams’, was shown at the entrance of the fair and across 101 screens in Madrid’s public transport sites. The thoroughline is Space Cowboys and its artists are taking these top-tier digital experiences into the public arena.

“This focus on interactivity represents not only a new step for Space Cowboys in more immersive experiences, but also a new industry trend. More brands and brand experiences are using immersive pop-ups to really create interactive and memorable experiences for their clients.” – Julie Reali and Lesly Lynch, founders.

To further this theme of blurring the boundaries between the real and the digital as part of the 'BLOOM' exhibition, Space Cowboys has partnered with Infinite Objects, a cutting edge digital print shop, to create a series out key moments from the exhibition. Check it out here!

All in all, Space Cowboys has gone immersive and now are inviting others to take the leap.
