There's No Feeling Like Relief in DDB Argentina's New Volkswagen Ad

Los Angeles-based Central Films North’s award-winning director Rodrigo Garcia Saiz discovers a shared satisfaction unlike any other in the highly relatable spot “Toilets” for Volkswagen, out of DDB Argentina.

The :90 spot finds various individuals on a mad dash to the restroom, desperately dodging any obstacles in their way, including cutting a line of elderly folk and settling for less-than-ideal facilities.

The stylised slow motion heightens the gravity of the ‘emergency’ situation any person knows all too well, with the individuals scrapping all social norms in their frenzied state. The spot closes with a single relieved man getting back into his VW Cross Up to resume his road trip.
