Testicular cancer – that’s just for old-as guys. Right?

Scarily, no. It’s the most diagnosed cancer between 18-39 dudes, upending 175 lives in NZ every year. The good news? If symptoms are discovered early, it’s almost always curable. 

Problem is, self-checking is the kind thing that makes young guys’ nuts shrink into their stomachs.  

The Fondle Filter reminds guys of a truth they already know – it’s fun to play with balls. Using Snapchat’s AR tech, the Fondle Filter turns any ball or round object into testicles to prompt young guys to check their own. 

Brigid Alkema, CCO of Clemenger BBDO Wellington, says, “Golf balls, eggs, your mate’s bald head, you name it, if it’s round, it’s game on. Turning any ball-shape into a handful of fun could be a real lifesaver.”

The Fondler Filter was launched and promoted via OOH billboards and Adshels during Testicular Cancer month. It achieved 3.2M plays on Snapchat (that’s 6.4M balls checked), 100K shares and 8x average Snapchat interaction time.
