Heroes of Today - Jesse Owens
DDB Spain created a new campaign to show shocking racial discrimination in sports. It is a short film, based on real tweets and starring one of the 18 African-American athletes who competed at the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin. The piece depicts Jesse Owens' experiences during his journey to the legendary Olympic Stadium and reflects the racial discrimination currently to be found in sports today.
